Your newborn will most likely try to feed soon after birth, but that doesn't mean they're born knowing exactly how.
Just like you, they'll need to learn to feed and you'll need to help them overcome challenges along the way. Ask your midwife, health visitor or breastfeeding counsellor for help and advice if your baby is having any problems, and take a look at the list below for immediate advice.
