We all want our children to be happy and healthy and feel comfortable in their own skin. But every day, children and adults are exposed more and more to touched-up, filtered, unrealistic images in the media, which only promote a very narrow range of body shape and weight as acceptable or aspirational. And this can make us all feel insecure about our bodies.
So how can we help our children feel more confident about the way they look? How should we talk to them about it? Should we even mention weight?
