It might be the last thing you want to discuss with your teenager, but talking about sex and relationships is important. It lets them know there’s nothing shameful or embarrassing about sex, and that it’s a healthy part of life and relationships. Talking about sex with your teen lets them know they can talk to you if they have questions or worries, and makes it a bit easier for you to tell if there’s anything wrong.
