Supporting your child with body image and healthy weight
We all want our children to be happy and healthy and feel comfortable in their own skin. But every day, children and adults are exposed to unrealistic images that only promote a very narrow range of body shapes and weight as acceptable or aspirational. So how can we help our children feel more confident about the way they look? Should we even mention weight? In this section we’ve got lots of practical tips for helping children feel more body confident, and for talking to them about shape, size and weight in a supportive way.

Looking after your family’s teeth
Children usually start teething at around six months. Here you can find out more about how to help your baby through any teething troubles, and how to look after your child’s teeth as they start to come through. We even have tips to help if toothbrushing is a challenge!
