Questions to ask kids about their day at school

You’re not alone if, when you ask how their day at school was, all you get is “fine” or a grunt. Here are some questions you can ask to get more than a one word answer about what your child has been doing all day at school:

Tell me about 3 times today you used your pencil
What was the hardest thing you had to do today?
If you could be the teacher tomorrow, what would you do?
