Talking to an adviser at Midlothian Council’s Parental Employability Support service is free and confidential. An adviser can help with:

- Finding flexible work
- Training opportunities

- Debt and energy advice
- Support with benefits and grants
- Childcare support.
Using any of these services is entirely voluntary, so you won’t be pushed into a job that doesn’t suit you. It also means you won’t lose any benefits you’re currently receiving if you decide it’s not for you at any stage.
