Your guide to
Early Learning and Childcare for 0-5 year olds
Filter by age group
Your children are already learning lots at home but spending time in childcare can really boost their learning and social development. And here’s the really good bit: your 2, 3 or 4 year old could benefit from 1140 hours a year of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC). This is free to you, funded by the Scottish Government and local authorities. Find out what you're entitled to and how your wee one can benefit from ELC here. We also have tips to get them ready to start nursery, and ideas for helping with any first day worries.
